Caridina cantonensis. Crystal black shrimp are a beginner-friendly caridina shrimp. Care is identical to the crystal red shrimp, and they can easily be kept together and will interbreed. These shrimp do best in water with the following parameters:
pH: 6-6.8
kH: 0-1
gH: 3-6
Temperature: 20-24 Celsius. They prefer the cooler end of a tropical tank range.
